Collection: Air Purifier

An air purifier, also known as an air cleaner, is a device that removes contaminants and pollutants from the air in a room to improve indoor air quality. It works by drawing in air, passing it through filters, and then circulating the cleaned air back into the room.

How Air Purifiers Work:

  • Draws in Air: Air purifiers use a fan to draw in the air from the room.
  • Filters Air: The air is then passed through various filters that capture and remove pollutants like dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, and even some volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
  • Circulates Clean Air: The purified air is then circulated back into the room.

Types of Filters:

  • HEPA filters: These filters are highly effective at capturing very small particles, including dust, pollen, and some viruses.
  • Activated carbon filters: These filters are effective at removing odors and gases, such as smoke and VOCs.
  • Pre-filters: These filters capture larger particles like dust and pet hair, protecting the more delicate filters.
